Different Methods of Payment
When conducting a transaction with Salamat Financial Services,
there are three methods of payment that may be used: domestic
deposit, international wire or cheque. The best method of
payment varies according to where you are located, and how much
you want to send. Please speak to a Customer Service
Representative to see which method is best for your transaction.
Domestic Deposits
This payment option is only available to customers who are
living in Canada.
- Open an account with Salamat Financial Services by
completing a
customer
form.
- Contact Salamat Financial Services for their bank
account information.
- If the amount is under $2,000 CAD you may deposit cash
to the bank indicated, and please fax the bank receipt to
(604)983-3222.
- If the amount is higher then $2,000 CAD, you may deposit
either a draft or certified cheque payable to ‘Salamat
Financial Services.’ Afterwards, please ensure to fax a copy
of the draft or certified cheque, and a copy of the receipt
to (604)983-3222.
International Wires
This payment option is the best for amounts higher than $5,000,
to Salamat Financial Services, from a country outside of Canada.
- 1. Open an account with Salamat Financial Services by
completing a
customer
form.
- 2. Contact Salamat Financial Services and obtain their
wiring information.
- 3. Go to your bank to wire the amount required for your
transaction, and please fax a copy of the wiring forms to
(604)983-3222.
Cheque
This payment option is usually the best for customers who are
sending under $5,000 to Salamat Financial Services.
- Open an account with Salamat Financial Services by
completing a
customer
form.
- Obtain a cashiers/certified cheque from the bank written
to Salamat Financial Services.
- Mail the cheque along with your full name/company name,
phone number, and receiver's information through a traceable
postal service.
- When the cheque is received, you will be contacted
immediately. Depending on which country it was sent from,
there may be a hold on the cheque.
- Please note that our rates and service charges are
completely variable depending on the amount of the
transaction.
- After the hold, your funds will be deposited into the
receiver's account within 24 to 48 business hours.
